- An online marketplace to book independent, vetted nannies (childcare) in Japan.
- Price
- Each nanny sets an hourly rate between ¥2,500 and ¥10,000, shown on their profile and at checkout (tax included). Minimum booking: 3 hours.
- Other fees
- TabiCare service fee of 8% of the booking subtotal. Extra child: ¥500 per hour for each child after the first. Late night (22:00–06:00): ¥1,000 per hour. Nanny travel fee: up to ¥3,000 per booking, if the nanny charges one. Internet and communication costs are borne by the customer. Late return without arranging extra time: after a 15-minute grace period, 1.5× the nanny’s hourly rate in 30-minute blocks.
- Payment method
- Credit or debit card, processed by Stripe.
- Payment timing
- Charged when you confirm a booking after the nanny accepts your request (within 24 hours of acceptance). Nothing is charged when you send a request. Extra time is charged when your nanny agrees to it. Late-return charges are collected after the booking.
- Service delivery
- Childcare is provided on the date and at the time and place in your confirmed booking.
- Cancellations & refunds
- Cancel 48+ hours before the start for a full refund, 24–48 hours before for 50%, less than 24 hours before for no refund. If the nanny or TabiCare cancels, you receive a full refund. Full cancellation policy
