I believe every child deserves to feel safe, heard, understood, and loved. Throughout my seven years of teaching, I’ve had the privilege of working with children from different backgrounds, including children on the autism spectrum. I’ve learned that every child has their own beautiful way of seeing the world. As a caregiver, I value creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. I believe in being patient, listening to their stories, and taking their thoughts and feelings seriously. From high school until I graduated from university, I volunteered with Rotary International in the Philippines, supporting children’s education, hygiene, and well-being. I also spent a year volunteering weekly at a local public school, teaching basic math, English, and religion. I hope to bring that same patience, empathy, and genuine care to every child I look after.
